We are seeking innovative and impactful speaker proposals for the 2025 Workplace Mental Health Conference, taking place virtually on August 6, 2025.

This annual event is an opportunity for experts to showcase their knowledge, creative solutions and other insights to contribute to the discourse around addressing and improving workplace mental health. 

Proposal submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. ET, Friday, Feb. 28, 2025

Presentation topics

We are looking for presentations on timely and emergent issues impacting workplace mental health and well-being. We are especially interested in topics related to:

  • Organizational structures, policies, and practices that support mental health

  • Digital tools to support employee mental health

  • The role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the future of workplace mental health

  • Supporting and retaining younger employees as it relates to mental health

  • Stories of navigating a mental health condition at work including individuals with lived experience

Presentation formats

The following formats are available. Proposals will be evaluated based on specific criteria, including relevancy to theme and expertise of presenters.

  • Keynote: 45-minute session exploring a timely topic on a deeper level. Presentations should be no longer than 35 minutes with 10 minutes reserved for audience Q&A.
  • Concurrent Session: 45-minute session introducing a model program, evidence-based practice, or case study relating to workplace mental health. Sessions should be no longer than 35 minutes with 10 minutes reserved for audience Q&A.
  • Moderated Panel Discussion: 60-minute session that covers an aspect of workplace mental health from multiple perspectives. The panel will be moderated by a member of the conference planning committee and speakers should expect to answer audience questions throughout the presentation.

Submitting a proposal 

Speaker applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. ET, Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. The application includes a summary of your presentation in 500 words or less. Your summary must contain:

  • Clearly defined learning objectives
  • An overview of the presentation content and format
  • The intended audience

You will be asked to submit your session title and a brief description of no more than three sentences less. This description will be included in the digital conference program if your proposal is selected.

If you have more than one presenter, the lead presenter should submit the proposal on behalf of the entire group.

All submissions are due 11:59 p.m. ET, Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. 

Selection process and expectations 

Members of the conference planning committee will review and select all sessions. All speaker participation will take place from the selected speakers' home, office or other quiet area with a stable internet connection. 

  • All selected speakers will be notified by late March 2025.  
  • All selected speakers will receive free conference registration and are welcome (and encouraged) to attend the entire conference virtually.
  • Speakers are required to attend one 30-minute meeting with a representative from the conference planning team and to attend a practice session the week before the conference.

All presenters should plan to join the conference virtually on August 6, 2025. Presenters will attend from their own home, office or other quiet space. A stable internet connection is required. All sessions will be recorded and shared with attendees after the conference with all presentation materials including slides and other resources, as needed.
