The MeTRIC Symposium brings together researchers and experts from across the University of Michigan to disseminate research, share ideas, foster collaboration, and showcase resources available to U-M investigators who are interested in utilizing wearable and mobile technologies in health research.

2024 Symposium
The 2024 MeTRIC Symposium was held on November 1 at NCRC in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sessions focused on key themes related to the design, technology, ethics, rigor, and reproducibility of research using mobile technologies. Topics aligned with resources available to U-M investigators. This free, in-person event was open to all U-M faculty, staff, trainees and learners, with nearly 300 in attendance.
2023 Symposium
The inaugural MeTRIC Symposium was held on November 10, 2023, at the North Campus Research Complex in Ann Arbor, MI. The event featured dynamic keynote lectures, study spotlights, multiple interactive panel discussions, and a robust poster session. Nearly 200 faculty and staff from across the University of Michigan and Michigan Medicine were in attendance.
