Our Members

Jeffery Bohnen, M.D., is a resident at the University of Michigan Medical School, class of 2028. Dr. Bohnen was born in Minnesota to parents who immigrated from the Netherlands, then moved around a lot before coming to the University of Michigan to study psychology and music. Before joining U-M, Dr. Bohnen spent a year in California studying neurofeedback and substance use disorders. He has a passion for clinical research and completed a dual degree in business administration exploring his interest in entrepreneurship, systems-level practices, and advocacy. After completing medical school in 2024, Dr. Bohnen remained at Michigan for residency and continues his research here via the Psychiatry Research Track.
