Our Members

Ms. Gewarges earned her Bachelor's Degree studying Psychology and Cell and Molecular Biology at San Diego State University. She is now a PhD Candidate and Rackham Merit Fellow at the University of Michigan Neuroscience Graduate Program where she is completing her dissertation under the mentorship of Dr. Joanna Spencer-Segal at the Michigan Neuroscience Institute. She is interested in studing the neural circutry that may be responsible for controlling affective states, including depression, in critical illness survivors.
