Beatriz Manzor Mitrzyk, Pharm.D.
Dr. Beatriz Manzor Mitrzyk earned her doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Michigan. After completing a clinical pharmacy translational science postdoctoral research fellowship in 2016, she became a clinical assistant professor at U-M in 2019. Dr. Manzor Mitrzyk conducts qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research. Using a community engaged research approach, her research team, steering committee, and community members identify gaps in care, assess for health disparities, and develop and implement interventions to improve health outcomes. Dr. Manzor Mitrzyk is also a clinical pharmacist at the Community Health and Social Services Center of Detroit, MI and provides collaborative drug therapy management to underrepresented patients with diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and polypharmacy. She enjoys traveling, taking long walks, and spending time with her family and friends.
