Considerations to Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Health Research

Opportunities abound to do better when it comes to the administration of health research. In this DIGIT-MI session, Reema Kadri, MLIS, will share key strategies and resources to leverage to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in your research, whether you are working with people, their data, or both. Promoting DEI will, in turn, improve your results.

Reema is a research area specialist senior in the Department of Family Medicine and a staff co-lead in the Behavioral Research Innovation and Support Program, MICHR.

DIGIT-MI is an affinity group where University of Michigan faculty and staff meet to connect, learn and share resources that encourage the increased use of digital and mobile technologies and mental wellness measurements in health research. Virtual sessions are held on the second Monday of the month from September through June.
