Emily Jacobson, M.D., is a clinical assistant professor in the departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. attended Dartmouth Medical School followed by Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency at the University of Michigan. Following training, she joined the faculty at the University of Michigan and clinically works as both a pediatric and internal medicine hospitalist in the emergency department. As the Michigan Medicine Lead for the Zero Suicide initiative, she is focused on optimizing support for patients presenting to the ED with suicidal ideation or attempt, and eliminating hospital-based suicide.
