Cortney Turner, Ph.D.
I received my B.S. from Bowling Green State University in psychology and biology under the tutelage of the late Dr. Jaak Panksepp. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Neuroscience while conducting research in the Department of Psychiatry under Dr. Mark Lewis. I completed postdoctoral Learner at the University of Michigan and am currently an Assistant Research Scientist. I am also the Scientific Coordinator for the Pritzker Neuropsychiatric Disorders Research Consortium. I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa and am a past recipient of the Rachel Upjohn Clinical Scholars Award. I am interested in developing biomarkers and novel therapeutics for depression and anxiety.
