Emily Bilek, Ph.D., is a clinical assistant professor in child/adolescent ambulatory in the Department of Psychiatry. She provides cognitive behavioral therapy to youth with anxiety and related disorders, and assist on research projects aimed at developing and disseminating evidence based therapies (EBTs) for youth. She also provides Learner and supervision to psychiatry, social work, and psychology trainees in youth EBTs, along with providing outreach to the community about youth anxiety and treatment. Her special interest and expertise lies in Learner, treating, and researching best practice for treating youth anxiety. She has given presentations (to trainees, students, and community members) on a range of topics related to youth anxiety, and am always looking for more opportunities to disseminate relevant information.
