Dr. Cathy Goldstein is a Clinical Professor of Neurology in the Michigan Medicine Sleep Disorders Center where she cares for patients with a variety of sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnias, and circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders. Dr. Goldstein’s session will outline the need for objective, longitudinal sleep tracking for research and clinical applications, the limitations of currently accepted sleep tracking methods, and the pros and cons of tracking sleep with consumer-facing technologies.
