Ricks Warren, Ph.D., specializes in evidence-based treatment of anxiety and depression, particularly within workshop and training settings. With a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon and a B.A. from UNC–Chapel Hill, he is board-certified in behavioral and clinical psychology. Working closely with the Anxiety Disorders Program, Dr. Warren employs stakeholder-engaged methods—including patient and clinician focus groups—to refine cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, ensuring interventions are effectively tailored to real-world clinical environments at Michigan Medicine. He contributes to training programs for psychiatry residents and postdoctoral fellows, integrating qualitative feedback to enhance therapy delivery and professional development. Dr. Warren brings clinical expertise and team-based learning to his work, supporting continuous quality improvement in mental health care.
