Muneesh Tewari, M.D., Ph.D., is the Ray and Ruth Anderson-Laurence M Sprague Memorial Research Professor, a professor of Internal Medicine, associate division chief of basic research and a professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Dr. Tewari is a cutting-edge oncology and mobile technologies researcher. His research is focused on CAR-T cell therapy and the role of NETosis and innate immunity in immune-based toxicity, improved cell-free nucleic acid liquid biopsy approaches for early detection and monitoring of cancer, wearbales for early disease detection and prediction, microbiome modifications and cancer neuroscience.
