Adam Horwitz, Ph.D.
Adam Horwitz, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Horwitz’s research focuses on the identification of modifiable risk and protective factors for suicide, and the development of brief digital interventions that can target them. Populations of interest include adolescents, young adults, veterans, and the LGBTQ+ community. He is the program lead for trauma services in the U-M Adult Anxiety Clinic with a specialization in evidenced-based treatments for PTSD (e.g., CPT, PE, WET). Dr. Horwitz received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Michigan.
