The Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg and Family Depression Center's membership bridges connections between disciplines, facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations that are central to our mission to lower the burden of depression and bipolar disorders.

Faculty and learners from across the University of Michigan’s schools and colleges contribute their knowledge and expertise toward our goal of accelerating high-impact research that leads to improved mental health outcomes across our communities.

Membership Criteria

Faculty

  • An active primary faculty appointment in a University of Michigan department and locally based at one of the three U-M campuses (Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint).
  • A track record of or potential for independent, first-author research.
  • Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary collaborations related to the Center’s mission.

Learners

  • Current enrollment in a University of Michigan graduate, doctoral, or post-graduate training program at one of the three U-M campuses (Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint).
  • Interest in participating in interdisciplinary collaborations related to the Center’s mission.
  • Annual renewal of membership in the fall of each year.

Applications are reviewed by Center leadership on a rolling basis.
